THAI YOGA MASSAGE
Assisted stretching + mindful touch for full-body release, mobility, and energetic balance.
Thai Yoga Massage is a deeply restorative treatment performed over clothes on a comfortable floor mat. With roots dating back over 2,500 years to Indian Ayurvedic and yogic healing traditions, it’s often called “the lazy person’s yoga” because you fully relax while the therapist guides your body through movement and stretches.
This session incorporates topical tuning forks applied to acupressure points along the front and back of the body to encourage deep relaxation. Audible tuning forks tuned to Theta and Delta frequencies are held near the ears, gently slowing the mind and enhancing the meditative experience. A stimulating head massage activates pressure points, followed by slow, passive yogic stretches of the arms, legs, and spine.
Using hands and feet, the practitioner kneads and presses muscles along the body’s energy lines. Assisted stretches are further deepened and sometimes with a soft cloth fabric, helping to open tight areas, increase flexibility, and relieve joint and muscle tension. You are invited to fully surrender and let the treatment provider move your body, allowing long-held stretches, gentle joint mobilizations, firm yet soothing compressions, and reflexology techniques.
